She served as Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity (2014–2019) and later as UN Under-Secretary-General, leading UNODC and the UN Office at Vienna (2020–2025). Her earlier career included leadership roles at UNDP, CARE International and Egypt’s Social Fund for Development.

Lobna El Bayar is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Central Bank of Egypt, bringing over 30 years of expertise in digital transformation and IT strategy. Throughout her career, she has held high-level leadership roles, including IT Director at Orange Egypt and North Africa Cluster IT Manager at ExxonMobil. She is an alumnus of The American University in Cairo.

Dr. Sherif ElKholy is an investment professional with over 20 years of experience in private equity, infrastructure and structured finance. He is Managing Director and Head of Middle East and Africa at Actis and serves on the boards of KFH Bank Egypt and Edita. He also teaches finance at AUC and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of London.

Ahmed Al Tanani is a Director in Lunate’s private equity team, contributing to the firm’s direct investment strategy. He brings over 22 years of experience across private equity, investments, operations and restructuring. Previously, he was an Investments Director at ADQ, leading strategic and financial investments across multiple sectors. Ahmed holds an MBA from London Business School.

Karim Saada is CEO and Managing Director of Al Ahly Capital Holding, the investment arm of the National Bank of Egypt. He has over 30 years of experience across private equity, investment management, corporate finance and banking. Previously, he held senior roles at Amwal Al Khaleej and Gulf Arab Investment Company. He is a CFA charterholder with an MSc in Finance.

Ahmed Mohsen possesses a robust foundation in computer science and mathematics, coupled with a proven track record in computer security, artificial intelligence, and fintech. Throughout his career, he successfully engineered the architecture of one of Egypt's largest bank networks. Mohsen also played a pivotal role as a founding member of the cybersecurity company SecureMisr, which was acquired by Cysiv in March 2020. Mohsen is an alumnus of the American University in Cairo, holding a degree in Computer Science.

Amr Ramadan is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience across corporate finance, investment banking, treasury and financial analysis. Before joining MNT-Halan, he served as Group Treasurer at Beltone Financial and held senior roles at Arab African International Bank and Arab International Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Helwan University Cairo.

Mostafa Amr currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at MNT-Halan. Since joining the company in 2018, he has played a central role in building and scaling several of the company’s core analytical, commercial, and operational functions, including BI, Data Science, Customer Growth, Performance Management, and CXP. He later took on leadership of Digital Products, supporting the expansion of Consumer Finance, Cards, Payments, and Investment & Savings products. Prior to joining the company, Mostafa began his career at Careem, where he advanced to Egypt’s Head of Growth and Planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Cairo University.

Omar Bebars is a finance executive with over two decades of experience leading financial strategy and operations across fintech, retail, construction, and hospitality. He joined MNT-Halan in 2025 as Group CFO. Prior to joining MNT-Halan, Omar was Group CFO at Kazyon and spent over 14 years at Orascom Construction Ltd. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sadat Academy for Management & Science and multiple certifications in Occupational Psychology & Competency Testing from the British Psychological Association.

Sara Metwally is a communication expert with over 19 years in the industry, including a decade in operational management. She spent 16 years at Starcom, ultimately serving as General Manager for Egypt, and later served as Director of End-to-End Consumer Experience Strategy for Africa at The Coca-Cola Company. Sara joined MNT-Halan in 2023.
